Last Updated:

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Recut website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Recut provides video editing and related creative services. The scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing for each project will be agreed upon before work begins.

We reserve the right to refuse service if a project does not align with our capabilities or policies.

2. Orders & Payments

  • All services must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed.

  • Pricing is based on the scope of work, including the amount of raw footage provided.

  • Additional fees may apply for revisions, extra footage, or changes outside the agreed scope.

Failure to complete payment may result in delays or suspension of services.

3. Revisions

We offer a limited number of revisions depending on the selected package.

  • Revisions must fall within the original scope of the project.

  • Major changes or new directions may be treated as a new request and billed separately.

4. Turnaround Time

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on:

  • Project complexity

  • Feedback response time

  • Current workload

We are not responsible for delays caused by late client responses or incomplete materials.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth delivery, clients agree to:

  • Provide all necessary assets (footage, branding, instructions)

  • Ensure they have the rights to use all submitted content

  • Give clear and timely feedback

Delays in providing materials or feedback may impact delivery timelines.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Final delivered videos become the property of the client upon full payment.

  • Recut retains the right to showcase completed work in its portfolio, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital services:

  • Payments are generally non-refundable once work has begun.

  • Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis before work starts.

8. Limitation of Liability

Recut is not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of revenue, profits, or data resulting from the use of our services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.

9. Third-Party Content

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any music, footage, or assets provided.

We are not liable for any copyright or legal issues arising from client-supplied materials.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services if:

  • Terms are violated

  • Communication breaks down

  • Payments are not completed
